A Note from Beth

Made of Light

Each of these began as light. When a pattern goes active in someone, I see it — a spark, a burst of colour in the body.

I asked my mother, Barbara Davis, to paint exactly that: not the idea of a pattern, but the moment it activates.

What you’ve been looking at is her hand and my seeing, together — a whole person, made visible.
