Yoga Philosophy
Yoga is not a state of the body — it is a state of mind.
The philosophy, the texts, and the frameworks beneath the whole practice — what yoga actually is, where it comes from, and how to make it practical instead of abstract.

Yoga literally means union — to bind, to bring together. It is both the method — the postures, the breath, the ethical principles — and the goal itself: union with your Self. This isn't about blind faith. Yoga is a science of self-experiment: you try the techniques and see the results for yourself.
And it is one of the few things no one can ever take from you. It's a practice that is always yours, regardless of external conditions.
The map of the whole territory.
The Foundations & the Texts
What yoga is, where it comes from — including the lineage this practice descends from — and the five foundational texts: the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Introduced as living guides, not homework.
The Eight Limbs
Patanjali's eightfold path — from ethical principles through breath, focus, and meditation to union. Not steps to check off one by one, but interwoven practices that reinforce each other.
The Frameworks
The Koshas — your five layers. The Gunas — the three qualities moving through you. The Chakras — your energy centers. Practical tools for recognizing patterns in your body, mind, and emotions.
The Four Paths
Karma, Jnana, Bhakti, and Raja — selfless action, self-knowledge, devotion, and discipline. Four ways to the same place, and how to recognize the one that fits your temperament and your life.
Legible, practical, and yours to keep.
What yoga is, the history and lineage, the texts, the Eight Limbs, the frameworks, and the four paths — recorded and self-paced, on any device.
Including crafting your own symbol of unity — bringing the concept into form, not just into thought.
A body-scan meditation to settle the body and quiet the mind.
Downloadable guides you keep, and teachings to return to for as long as you practice.
For anyone who's practiced yoga without ever being taught what it is.
- You've practiced yoga — maybe for years — and realize no one ever taught you what it actually is.
- You want the depth beneath the postures: the texts, the lineage, the frameworks.
- You keep hearing words like chakras, gunas, or the eight limbs — and want them made practical instead of vague.
- You're looking for a movement sequence. This is the understanding beneath every sequence you'll ever practice.
Beth Davis
Founder of the Institute of Quantum Frequency. Beth has practised the 84 postures of the Ghosh lineage — the therapeutic tradition of Bishnu Charan Ghosh — since 2011, later seeking out senior teachers Esak Garcia and Kim Tang for their depth of experience in the practice. Fifteen years inside those 84 postures is where IQF's 84-Code System came from. Yoga Philosophy is the map of that whole territory — where the practice comes from, and where it leads.
